Recently, the team at Collin County Glass had the pleasure of beginning a multi-phase project for a residential homeowner in Gunter, Texas. This expansive project covers four bathrooms, four showers, and a dedicated gym and yoga studio. In this first installment of our two-part series, we are highlighting the first three bathroom transformations, showcasing the versatility of frameless glass and the importance of professional hardware selection.
The Gunter Project: A Study in Modern Luxury Bathrooms

For the first guest suite, the design centered around a clean, vertical-stack tile and warm metallic accents. We installed a custom frameless enclosure featuring Satin Brass hardware. This specific finish has seen a massive resurgence in Collin County home remodeling because it offers a soft, contemporary glow without the harshness of traditional polished brass.
To ensure this investment stays pristine, the glass was treated with Diamon-Fusion®. This ultra-thin protective coating makes the glass water-repellent and resistant to hard water stains and soap scum. In an area like Gunter, where water mineral content can be high, Diamon-Fusion® is an essential upgrade that significantly reduces cleaning time.
The second bathroom featured a bold, blue chevron tile pattern. To complement this striking visual, we utilized another frameless configuration with Brushed Nickel hinges and handles. The transparency of our high-quality glass ensures that the deep hues of the tile are visible from every angle of the bathroom, effectively turning the shower into a piece of functional art. Like the first unit, this shower also received the Diamon-Fusion® treatment to maintain its crystal-clear appearance for years to come.
Not every upgrade requires entirely new materials. In the third bathroom, we demonstrated our flexibility by helping the homeowner reuse their existing glass for a refreshed configuration. By updating the hardware to Brushed Nickel, we were able to match the new plumbing fixtures and provide a clean, updated look while being mindful of the project’s overall material sustainability.
While this unit did not receive Diamon-Fusion® (as the shower glass was pre-existing), the professional re-installation ensured a perfect fit and leak-free performance.
